Description: The main purpose of The Grupo Guadalupano is to honor Our Lady of Guadalupano as the Mother of God and the "Empress of the Americas". To do this the group has taken charge of her feast day celebration (December 12), keeping alive the traditions and faith of our fathers. During the year, the Group holds a monthly sale of "pandulce" (sweetbread). The proceeds help pay for the celebration and for two $500 scholarships given to Senior students of Latin descent from Louzinger, North, or Lawndale high schools. In Spring a dance is held as a fundraiser. In Summer a picnic is held for the sole purpose of making community.

Meetings: The Group meets the second Sunday of the month, 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Description: Leadership team that plans social and service activities for teens.

Meetings: The second and fourth Sunday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

Volunteer Opportunities Are Available!
What Is Needed: Planning skills and commitment. Ability to work well as part of a team.

Requirements: Ability to work with youth. Members must be high school teens. Need not be enrolled in youthQuest.

Training: After one year youth may attend Christian Leadership Institute (one week in August).

Commitment: Two times per month as well as preparation for and participating in activities.

Description: Services and activities information for Senior citizens.

Meetings: The Senior Club meets each Thursday from 10:00 a.m. Please bring your own lunch.
We have a Senior citizens' mass and luncheon on the third Thursday each month, mass is at 10:30 a.m. and the luncheon follows at 11:30 a.m. ($3.00 donation).
Our Senior retreat is every first Thursday of the last month of each quarter (for example: March, June, September, and December), from 9:30 a.m. to noon ($5.00 donation).

Volunteer Opportunities Are Available!
What Is Needed: Setting tables; cleaning up tables; washing dishes; washing pots and pans; general kitchen duties.

Training: On the job training.

Commitment: Once a month for four to six hours.
